Sweden participated in the Own Eurovision Song Contest 26 and selected their entry through an internal selection. Emerentia was selected to represent Sweden in Vaduz, Liechtenstein.
Sweden failed to qualify for the Grand Final and ended up on 19th place of all 21 countries in the second semifinal of the 26th edition.

The two sisters Johanna and Klara, was chosen internally by the Swedish delegation to represent Sweden in the 26th edition of Own Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Emmylou".
At Own Eurovision Song Contest[]
Sweden competed in the second semi-final for a place in the final. Sweden performed as the ninth entry of the twenty-one entries.
Sweden failed to qualify for the Grand Final. Before the final it was announced that Sweden placed nineteenth in the semi-final, receiving a total of 25 points.

Spokesperson and calling city[]
Lykke Li, a popular Swedish singer within the indie genres, got the privilege to present the Swedish votes in the Grand Final of Own Eurovision Song Contest 26. She's also a previous entrant for Sweden in the 16th edition
The calling city was chosen to be Ystad, the home town of Lykke Li.
