On 7 November 2012, it was announced that the winner of the first season of X-Factor Romania, Andrei Leonte, will represent Romania in the 13th edition of Own Eurovision Song Contest in Warsaw, Poland with his song "Te iubesc cât 2".
At Own Eurovision Song Contest[]
Ending in the top 5 in Own Eurovision Song Contest 12 means that Romania is part of the Big 5 countries, so it automatically qualified for a place in the final. In addition to their participation in the final, Romania was assigned to vote in the third semi-final.
At the end of the voting Romania placed 26th, receiving 69 points.
