Romania will participate in Own Eurovision Song Contest 12, and will select their entry through an internal selection. Kaiia and Manilla Maniacs were selected to represent Romania in Andorra la Vella, Andorra.
Romania ended in the top 5 at the end of the voting, receiving a total of 135 points and placed 4th out of 27 countries.

On October 16, 2012, it was announced that Kaiia and Manilla Maniacs will represent Romania in the 12th edition of Own Eurovision Song Contest in Andorra la Vella, Andorra with the song "Crazy love".

Romania will compete in one of the three semifinals for a place in the final.
On October 18, 2012 it was decided that Romania will perform number 10 in the second semi-final.
