| The Own Eurovision Song Contest, often shortened to OESC is a song contest on Youtube held, primarily, among the member countries of the Own European Broadcasting Union since April 2012. The competition is based upon the existing Eurovision Song Contest held among the member countries of the EBU since 1956. The current and official executive supervisor is Mihai Ghetiu.
Each country's head of delegation gets to select an entry for each edition either by internal or national selection. Then the countries get to vote for each show (quarter-final, semi-final or final) to determine the qualifiers and the winner of the edition. Read more...

| Own Eurovision Song Contest 54, often referred to as OESC #54, is the 54th edition of Own Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Tampere, Finland, following Sini Yasemin's win in the 53rd edition with the song "Mayday". It was the third time Finland had hosted the contest, having previously done so in the thirty-fifth and forty-ninth editions. Organised by the Own European Broadcasting Union and host broadcaster Finnish Broadcasting Corporation, the contest was held at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, and consisted of two semi-finals and the final. The three live shows were hosted by Sanni Kurkisuo.
Forty-seven countries took part in the contest. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Israel, Moldova and North Macedonia returned to the competition, while Algeria, Hungary and Morocco withdrew for various reasons. Azerbaijan had originally planned to participate, but announced its withdrawal after the deadline.
The winner was Russia with the song "Trogat zapreshcheno" performed by Hanna. This is country's third victory, the last one being in the 49th edition, once again hosted by Finland. The podium was completed by Belarus, which managed to equal their best result achieved back in the 23rd edition, receiving same amount of points, followed by Netherlands. Kazakhstan, which placed fourth also equaled their best result from 41st edition. Portugal and Armenia finished on fifth and sixth places respectively. | Poland has participated in the contest 41 times, debuting in the seventh edition, with their best position being 1st, achieving this at the 12th, 26th, 40th, 44th and 50th editions. The majority of their were selected through internal selection. However, they have also hosted several selections with four of them being under the name of Polska Piosenka, the four-edition selection that selected one of their winning song so far which was "Electric bass" in the 12th edition with 221 points. The second victory of the country came in the 26th edition with Christina Perri and her song "Human" which got just one more point than the first victory of the country, 222 points. The third victory of the country came in the 40th edition with Sarsa and her single "Naucz mnie", which scored a total amount of 208 points while the fourth victory came four editions later, in the 44th edition with Margaret and her song "Cool Me Down", which scored a total of 249 points.
