Own Eurovision Song Contest 16
After winning OESC #15, the country should have been host. Due to the withdrawal for personal reasons of the head of delegation, the right to host was given to Russia, therefore country went back to semi-final with a new head of delegation. Unfortunately, country failed to qualify ending 9th in semi-final.

Nikki Lee and her song "Chiki Chiki" takes the gold ticket for San Marino.During the voting it was obvious that Nikki Lee is going to win."Chiki Chiki" qualified but got the 30th place!The worst result for Cyprus at the final!
